We hope you can join us in Washington D.C. for the annual Lobby Day, along with members of other NAPABA affiliates.   In observance of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM), the NAPABA’s 12th annual Lobby Day will be taking place in-person for the first time in three years on the afternoon of May 22^nd and continue all day on May 23rd! For those unfamiliar, Lobby Day is a tremendously empowering event where we get to engage with our elected officials on issues important to the APA community. NAPABA not only sets up the meetings with our representatives, but also provides training on the relevant issues. This event will start in person in D.C. on the afternoon of May 22^nd, and continue on May 23^rd.

Register, apply for NAPABA stipend (reimbursement), and find out more information online here.  The deadline for Registrants to apply for NAPABA stipend has been extended to 8pm EDT on April 6, 2023, and applicants will be notified by April 14, 2023.  One must be a member of NAPABA to be eligible for the stipend.

Registration Deadline is Thursday, April 20, 2023. A booking link will be provided for the hotel block upon registration.

There is a 3-part required training per NAPABA’s website.  Please see “Schedule” in the drop down menu of the link above.

You are strongly encouraged to apply for the NAPABA stipend before applying for possible partial reimbursement from APABA-Pa for its members who are registered and attending Lobby Day. The amount of the APABA-Pa reimbursement is undetermined as it depends upon any stipend awarded by NAPABA and the number of  APABA-Pa members seeking reimbursement.  Please see application form HERE which is DUE BY COB on April 15, 2023 to Suzanne Young.

Applicants will be notified of APABA-Pa reimbursement approval by April 30, 2023.  Participation in Lobby Day is required and receipts for expenditures must be submitted along with the completed Reimbursement Form.
