Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association 2020 Diversity Scholarship

Each year the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association awards five (5) scholarships to law students from diverse backgrounds. The goal is to identify and promote students who will be future leaders within the bar and their respective affinity bar organizations. In considering candidates, the YLD Diversity Committee looks to the candidate’s involvement in the community, leadership skills, and a demonstrable commitment to practicing law in Philadelphia following graduation.

Recognizing the uncertainty that exists today, we believe it is paramount now more than ever to award scholarships to deserving minority students attending our local law schools.
