How You can Support The Barristers and the Community at this Time
The Barristers are seeking volunteerswith criminal law experience to provide pro bono representation to individuals arrested since Saturday, May 30 in connection with exercising their First Amendment rights to assemble, speak, and petition. Barristers is also seeking volunteers to provide pro bono legal assistance to the small, Black businesses devastated or otherwise disrupted by the recent riots. Volunteers may sign up using this Google Form.
You can donate to the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund, which raises money all year round to post bail for our neighbors who remain imprisoned simply because they are too poor to pay for their freedom. Donations may be made here.
