2025 Judge William M. Marutani Fellows!

Congratulation to our 2025 Marutani Fellows!

• Jessica Li is a rising third-year student at Temple University Beasley School of Law and a Rubin Presser Social Justice Fellow. A Swarthmore College graduate, Jessica previously worked with the ACLU of Pennsylvania, where she authored a report on the misuse of cash bail. This summer, she will intern with the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Community Defender Office in Philadelphia.

• Su Ly is a third-year student at Temple Law, holds degrees in environmental science and policy from the University of Pennsylvania. A Philadelphia native, Su is dedicated to environmental justice and will be working with Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services this summer to support clients facing environmental legal challenges.

• Caitlin McElwee is a rising 3L at Villanova Law and a Drexel University alum with a background in global health, sustainability, and Arabic. Passionate about immigration law and local community advocacy, Caitlin will be interning at HIAS Pennsylvania, where she will support immigrants and refugees navigating complex legal systems.
