Subject to approval by vote of the general membership of APABA-PA at APABA-PA’s annual meeting to be held on December, 2023, we are excited to announce the vetted and approved slate of APABA-PA Officers and Directors for 2023.

2023 Officers and Board of Directors

On behalf of the Board Governance Committee, we submit the following report for consideration by the Board and eventual approval by the membership. First, we want to thank departing Board Members, John Huh, Tsiwen Law, Navdeep Singh and Erica Smith-Klocek, for their service as members of the Board. Although we are grateful to all of our departing Board Members and are thankful for all of their contributions, we take a moment to especially commend Tsiwen Law. To say that Tsiwen’s contributions over his 38 years of service to APABA-PA have been monumental and herculean is a gross understatement. Tsiwen has, as a founding member, served as a steady guiding hand to APABA-PA and its members, and he has played a crucial role in APABA-PA’s mission to serve as a voice for the voiceless. He has remained a member of the Board through decades when we needed his ongoing service, institutional knowledge, and leadership. Additionally, Tsiwen’s role as mentor to APABAPA’s members over the years, including many current and former members of this Board, are recognized and appreciated. We will miss you.

Second, we are pleased to nominate the following as the recommended slate of Officers and Board Members for 2023. Each of our new Board nominees, Vinny Lee, Stephen Kulp and Chris Lin, has demonstrated commitment to APABA-PA’s mission, and bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise.

Finally, we also wish to thank our current officers and Board members for their contributions and service. Our organization depends upon all of us! A special thank you to BGC members without whose help, the BGC could not have completed its work in recommending this slate.
