APABA-PA Endorsements of Philadelphia Bar Association Candidates

For APABA-PA members who are also members of the Philadelphia Bar Association, we urge that you vote in the upcoming Bar elections.  

Voting begins online on November 22nd through December 13th. Materials are available on the Bar’s website.

After Board members participated in last week’s candidate forum. and a report to and vigorous discussion by the APABA-PA Board, APABA-PA has endorsed the following candidates in the following contested races.

A. For Vice-Chancellor:

• Jennifer Coatsworth
  

B. Board of Governors- 7 candidates running for 5 positions:

• Stephen Kulp
• Nan Sato
• Arly Smith-Pearson
• William Braveman
  

Please note that both Nan Sato and Stephen Kulp are members of APABA-PA.

Please vote!

• After discussion, APABA-PA did not choose to endorse a 5th candidate of the 7 running for the PBA Board of Governors.
• Separately, APABA-PA did not discuss and therefore did not choose to endorse anyone running in the YLD races.
• We decided not to make any endorsements in any uncontested elections.
