Becoming Stronger: Overcoming Anti-Asian Violence
Time/Date: 5/13/2022, 4pm to 5:30pm
Location: Zoom Event
Anti-Asian violence and hate crimes have increased in frequency and intensity over the past several years, and have affected all of us. Despite the plethora of training and education available on this topic, many of us still feel powerless or without a clear way to channel our energy on this issue.
In this live Zoom program, professional coach and former APABA-PA board member, Crystal Espanol, and her colleague, Juliana Sih, will facilitate a thought-provoking discussion in a group coaching environment.
As our coaches, Crystal and Juliana will ask questions designed to open up each participant’s understanding of the subject matter and uncover ways to find joy and meaning despite the prevalence of anti-Asian violence. Furthermore, participants will discuss tools and resources to respond to anti-Asian violence.
Coaching strives to inspire individuals to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation of personal or professional goals and to develop and carry out a plan for achieving those goals.
This FREE program is available for APABA-PA members only, and is limited to 12 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis. Register ASAP to join us in this unique opportunity to process how anti-Asian violence affects you, and how to start taking more concrete steps to address it.
