Event Description (one hour program). Creative thinking can be a powerful tool to enhance your legal practice. In an industry that has remained largely unchanged over the years, an incredible opportunity exists for practitioners to innovate and drive positive change through the field. This interactive workshop will help you lay down your creative foundation so that you can drive the profession forward.
In this workshop, you will learn about creative problem-solving strategies for the business of legal practice and how these strategies have been successfully applied in practice. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other attendees through a creative simulation.
Biography. Adam Tsao is the founder of At Philosophy, a company dedicated to driving innovation in the legal industry through creativity trainings, coaching, and consulting. He is also the author of The Creativity Playbook for Lawyers: Strategies for the Business of Legal Practice. Previously, he practiced corporate law in Washington, D.C. at Covington & Burling LLP and, before that, at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Adam is currently the president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Educational Fund, an at-large member for the Penn Club of D.C., and a D.C. advisory board member for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
